Communication

• We offer a personalised first showaround.
• We give trial sessions and one-to-one staff-parent/carer introductions.
• We ask you to tell us as much as you can about your child.
• We tell you about your child’s day at Nursery.
• We issue Class and whole Nursery newsletters.
• We have parent notice boards and give access to our policies.
• We hold regular Parents Meetings.

Learning Journey

• Every child has a personal Learning Journey.
• We fill it with photos and your child’s work.
• We use it to plan all our activities.
• Parents are encouraged to contribute.

Key Person System

• Each child at Bambini has a key person.
• This person has special responsibilities for your child, observes them, and plans and assesses their learning.
• You will be confident that your child has a ‘special person’ at Nursery to rely on.

Events

• Celebrating cultural events is a big part of what we do.
• We always involve the children and parents/carers are welcome.
• Typical events are our Sports Day, Graduation Ceremony, Open Day and Christmas Show.
